Description
Strinx – Talk To The Wind is the only album by the German jazz-rock band Strinx, released in 1973 on Spiegelei (cat. no. 28 583-3U), a label of Intercord. It was recorded in May 1973 and produced by the band itself. At its centre is Wolfgang Kliegel on violin, electric clavichord and Nagoya harp, backed by electric piano, bass and drums. The five long pieces, including Ornette Coleman's "The Sphinx", combine jazz-rock with free improvisation. This copy is the 1973 German original pressing.

FAQ
Is this the original pressing?
Yes. This is the 1973 German first edition on Spiegelei, cat. no. 28 583-3U.
What is a Nagoya harp?
A Japanese plucked string instrument with a key mechanism (also called taishōgoto). Wolfgang Kliegel uses it alongside violin and electric clavichord as a distinctive tone colour.
What does Media VG+ / Cover VG+ mean?
VG+ (Very Good Plus) for the record means light signs of use that hardly affect playback. For the sleeve, VG+ means light wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.
Do you have more Strinx records?
No, "Talk To The Wind" is the band's only album. Similar music is in our Jazz-Rock collection and our Jazz collection.
