Released in 1981, Eddie, Old Bob, Dick And Gary is the debut album by London post-punk outfit Tenpole Tudor, fronted by the irrepressible Eddie Tenpole. A gloriously chaotic mix of punk energy, music hall theatrics, and new wave quirkiness, the album was released on the legendary Stiff Records label. This German Teldec pressing is a solid find for fans of the era. Standout tracks include the raucous "Swords of a Thousand Men" and "Wunderbar".
