FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes. This is the 1974 German first edition on ECM with catalogue number ECM 1031 ST.

What does the album sound like?
Quiet, spacious pieces alternate with longer improvisations in which Rypdal's reverb-heavy electric guitar meets oboe and two basses. The title track, at around eleven minutes, is the longest on the record.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) for the record means close to new with at most minimal signs of use. VG+ (Very Good Plus) for the sleeve means light wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Terje Rypdal records?
Yes, for example Terje Rypdal – After The Rain. More titles are in our Jazz collection and under Jazz-Rock.
