It was recorded between February 22 and August 20, 1969 at EMI Studios on Abbey Road and at Olympic and Trident in London, produced by George Martin with engineer Geoff Emerick. The original was released on September 26, 1969 on Apple (PCS 7088); side two is built around the long medley from "You Never Give Me Your Money" to "The End". This copy is a 1994 UK reissue, remastered, with matrices YEX 749-7-1-1 / YEX 750-5-1-1, without booklet.
