Description

The Beatles – Magical Mystery Tour Plus Other Songs combines the six songs from the 1967 TV film with five singles from the same period – including "Strawberry Fields Forever", "Penny Lane" and "All You Need Is Love". In the UK the soundtrack first appeared as a double EP; in Germany the LP version was first issued by Hör Zu in 1971. On offer is the 1976 German repress on Apple / EMI Electrola, on which the Hör Zu logo was replaced by the Apple logo.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
No. The first German LP edition came out in 1971 on Hör Zu (SHZE 327). This 1976 pressing is a later run with the Apple logo on the front; "SHZE 327" is still etched in the run-out groove.

What is behind "Plus Other Songs"?
Side A holds the songs from the film, side B five single tracks from 1967: "Hello Goodbye", "Strawberry Fields Forever", "Penny Lane", "Baby You're A Rich Man" and "All You Need Is Love".

What does media VG+ / sleeve VG mean?
The record shows light signs of use, the sleeve more noticeable wear. Details on our Vinyl Grading page.
