Description

The Church – The Blurred Crusade was released in 1982 on Carrere and is the Australian band's second album, produced by Bob Clearmountain. Steve Kilbey's atmospheric songs are carried by even lusher, reverb-laden layers of guitar – jangle pop meets psychedelic rock. The best-known song is the opener “Almost With You”, alongside “When You Were Mine” and the eight-minute “You Took”.

On offer is a German repress from 1982 on Carrere (2934 148).
