The Mars Volta - Octahedron (Vinyl 2LP | EU Reissue | 2022)

The Mars Volta – Octahedron is the fifth studio album by the band of Omar Rodríguez-López and Cedric Bixler-Zavala. Rodríguez-López produced it himself; started in 2007, it was finished in three weeks in Brooklyn in August 2008 and released on Warner Bros./Mercury on 23 June 2009. With eight comparatively calm, song-based tracks it is the band's most accessible album; it reached No. 12 in the US. FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
No. The album was first released in 2009. This copy is the remastered 2022 reissue on the Hamburg label Clouds Hill on coloured vinyl.

Is Octahedron really a "quiet" Mars Volta album?
Compared with its predecessors, yes. The band called it their "acoustic" album; the songs are shorter and more melodic, though there are still loud passages, for example in "Cotopaxi".

Is the record new?
Yes. The record is new and factory sealed, so it has not been opened or played.

Do you have more The Mars Volta records?
Yes, for example The Mars Volta – Noctourniquet or The Mars Volta – Amputechture. More titles are in our Progressive Rock collection.
