Description
Till Brönner – Midnight is an early album by trumpeter Till Brönner, recorded between September 1995 and May 1996 in New York (Unique Recording, Power Station and other studios) and produced by George Whitty and David Mann. Brönner plays funky jazz with top New York session players: Michael Brecker, Dennis Chambers and Anthony Jackson appear on Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On" and Stevie Wonder's "Don't You Worry 'Bout A Thing", and the RIAS Big Band brass section plays on several tracks. The album first came out in the mid-1990s on the Button Records label. This copy is the remastered 2025 European reissue on Bam Bam Music / Verve: two 180g LPs in a gatefold sleeve.
