FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
No. The album first came out in 1977 in the Netherlands under the title Prism. This record is the 1982 German reissue titled Meditation.

Is the music composed or improvised?
The pieces are freely improvised and were recorded without overdubs; only Scott's voice was processed electronically afterwards. Writing credits are therefore shared between the musicians.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) for the record means close to new with at most minimal signs of use. VG (Very Good) for the sleeve means clear signs of wear such as edge or corner wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Tony Scott records?
Yes, for example Tony Scott – The Modern Art Of Jazz, Tony Scott / Shinichi Yuize / Hozan Yamamoto – Music For Zen Meditation. More titles are in our Jazz collection.
