Description

Twinkle Brothers – Dub Massacre Part 4 – The Killing Zone is the fourth part of the Twinkle Brothers' Dub Massacre series, released in 1989 on their own Twinkle Music label (cat. no. NG 515). The group around brothers Norman and Ralston Grant comes from Jamaica; this record was made in England and distributed by Jet Star, among others. Norman Grant produced, arranged and wrote the album and plays drums and percussion. According to the sleeve it consists of dub versions of rhythms from other Twinkle albums. The series began in 1982 and ran to part 6 in 1994. This copy is a 1989 UK original pressing.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes. Part 4 was released in the UK in 1989 on Twinkle Music with catalogue number NG 515, and this is that edition. Parts 3 and 4 were reissued together in 2011.

Which records make up the Dub Massacre series?
The series started in 1982 with “Dub Massacre – Inna Murder Style”, followed by part 2 (1983), part 3 (1985), this part 4 (1989), part 5 “Lion Head” (1990) and part 6 “Dub Feeding Programme” (1994).

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means the record is close to new with at most minimal signs of play. VG+ (Very Good Plus) means the sleeve shows light wear, here with general wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Twinkle Brothers records?
Yes, for example Twinkle – Breaking Down The Barriers and Twinkle Brothers – Twinkle In Poland. More titles are in our Reggae, Ska & Dub collection.
