Van Der Graaf Generator – H To He Who Am The Only One (Vinyl LP)

Van Der Graaf Generator – H To He Who Am The Only One is the third album by the British progressive rock band led by singer Peter Hammill, released on Charisma in December 1970. Hammill's dramatic vocals, Hugh Banton's organ and David Jackson's saxophones shape dark, intense pieces such as "Killer" and "Lost"; Robert Fripp of King Crimson plays guitar on "The Emperor In His War-Room". This copy is the UK original pressing in a gatefold sleeve.

FAQ

How do I recognise the UK original pressing?
By the catalogue number CAS 1027 on the early pink Charisma label and the gatefold sleeve.

Is this album a good start into prog?
More for advanced listeners: Van Der Graaf Generator are darker and more intense than Genesis or Yes – which is exactly why collectors love them.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
The record is almost like new, the sleeve shows light signs of use. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.
