Description
Various – Uhrwerk Orange is the original soundtrack to Stanley Kubrick's 1971 “A Clockwork Orange” in its German edition. Wendy Carlos (credited here as Walter Carlos) translates Beethoven and Rossini into cool Moog synthesizer sounds, alongside orchestral recordings of Rossini and Elgar. With “Singin' In The Rain”, a milestone where electronic music meets film.
On offer is an EU reissue on Warner Bros. Records (WB 46 127 / BS 2573 / K 46 127).
