Cruisin’ (1978) is the album that launched Village People into global superstardom. Released at the peak of the disco era, it contains two of the most recognisable anthems in pop history: “Y.M.C.A.” and “In the Navy”. Produced by Jacques Morali, the record is a masterclass in euphoric, hook-driven disco — irresistibly danceable and endlessly fun. This original German pressing on Metronome is a great find for any disco collector. Highlight tracks: Y.M.C.A., In the Navy, and Hot Cop.
