Wailing Souls – Stormy Night is an album by Jamaican vocal group Wailing Souls, released in 1989 on the US label Rohit Records (cat. no. RRTG 7767). It was produced and arranged by King Jammy. The group formed in 1966 as The Renegades and has been called Wailing Souls since 1968; its core is Winston “Pipe” Matthews and Lloyd “Bread” McDonald, joined by Ziggy Thomas in 1986. Stormy Night did well enough in the US that the group returned there in 1991. This copy is a 1989 US original pressing.
