Description

William DeVaughn – Be Thankful For What You Got was released in 1974 on Roxbury Records and recorded mostly at Sigma Sound Studios in Philadelphia. The seven-minute title track with its laid-back groove became a hit, and the long "Blood Is Thicker Than Water" is another highlight. On offer is the US original pressing from 1974 (RLX 100).

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes – it is the 1974 US first edition on Roxbury Records (RLX 100 on the sleeve, RLX-100 on the labels).

Why does the track order on the sleeve differ from the record?
The track sequence printed on the sleeve differs from the actual order on the LP – the tracklist above follows the record.

What do Media VG+ / Sleeve VG mean?
VG+ means light signs of play, VG a sleeve with more noticeable wear – here a small tear on the front. More in our Vinyl Grading guide.
