Yngwie J. Malmsteen's Rising Force – Odyssey is the fourth studio album by Swedish guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen, released on April 8, 1988 on Polydor. It was recorded at Cherokee Studios in Hollywood, House of Music in West Orange and Studio D in Austin, produced by Malmsteen and Jeff Glixman and mastered by Bob Ludwig. Joe Lynn Turner (ex-Rainbow) sings and wrote the lyrics. Reaching No. 40 on the Billboard 200 and No. 27 in the UK, it became Malmsteen's highest-charting album in those countries. This copy is the 1988 European original pressing with the original inner sleeve.
