Description

Alphonse Mouzon – Mind Transplant is drummer Alphonse Mouzon's best-known album, a mix of jazz-rock and funk featuring three guitarists: Tommy Bolin, Lee Ritenour and Jay Graydon. It was recorded and mixed in December 1974 at Wally Heider Recording Studio in Hollywood, produced by Skip Drinkwater, and first released in the US on Blue Note in 1975. Besides drums, Mouzon plays synthesizer and organ, sings and arranged every track. This copy is the 1976 German Blue Note pressing (BST 84471 G).
