Beastie Boys - Paul's Boutique (Vinyl 2LP | 30th Anniversary | EU Reissue | 2019)

Beastie Boys – Paul's Boutique is the Beastie Boys’ second studio album, released in 1989 on Capitol. After leaving Def Jam and moving to Los Angeles, the band made the album with the Dust Brothers; it was recorded at The Opium Den and Mario G's and mixed at the Record Plant in New York. The tracks are built from a huge number of samples, ranging from funk and soul to the Beatles. This copy is the 2019 European 30th anniversary edition (Capitol 7780913) as a double LP in a gatefold sleeve.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
No. The album was first released in 1989 as a single LP. This is the 2019 European 30th anniversary reissue, spread over two LPs in a gatefold sleeve.

What is “B-Boy Bouillabaisse”?
The nine-part suite on side D closes the album. It links short pieces such as “59 Chrystie Street”, “Hello Brooklyn” and “A.W.O.L.” into one continuous collage.

What does “New & factory sealed” mean?
The record is unplayed and still in the manufacturer’s original shrink wrap. We do not open it, so there is no separate grading of record and sleeve. Our grading system for used records is explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Beastie Boys records?
Yes, for example Beastie Boys – Paul's Boutique (remastered reissue 2018), Beastie Boys – Some Old Bullshit (RSD 2020) and Beastie Boys – Licensed To Ill (UK original 1986). More titles are in our Hip Hop & Rap collection.
