FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
No. The album came out in 1994. This double LP is the remastered 2009 European reissue on 180g vinyl with catalogue number 509996 94232 15.

Is the record new?
The record is new and still in its original shrink wrap, i.e. unplayed. That is why there is no Goldmine grade; the grades for used records are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Why are there so many instrumentals on the album?
The Beastie Boys played their own instruments. Pieces like "Sabrosa", "Eugene's Lament" or "Ricky's Theme" grew out of jams with Money Mark and Eric Bobo and sit alongside the rap tracks.

Do you have more Beastie Boys records?
Yes, for example Beastie Boys – Hello Nasty (2LP), Beastie Boys – Paul's Boutique (2LP), Beastie Boys – Licensed To Ill (30th Anniversary). More titles are in our Hip Hop collection.
