FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
It is the 1983 German original edition on Greensleeves / Bellaphon. The single was also released the same year in the UK and the Netherlands.

Is “Stop That Train” an original song?
No. The song dates from the rocksteady era and was made popular by Keith & Tex; Clint Eastwood & General Saint turned it into a deejay version in 1983. The B-side “Monkey Man” is their own composition.

What does Media VG+ / Cover VG+ mean?
VG+ (Very Good Plus) means both record and sleeve show light wear; the record may have faint surface noise that hardly affects playback. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Clint Eastwood & General Saint records?
Yes, for example the 12" single Clint Eastwood & General Saint – Matty Gunga Walk. More titles are in our Reggae, Ska & Dub collection.
