FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
No. The original came out on Tommy Boy in 1996. This double LP is the 2023 reissue on Chrysalis/AOI Records, cat. no. RMM-054-1, remastered by Michael Fossenkemper.

Is the record new?
Yes. This copy is new and factory sealed, the shrink wrap is unopened.

Why was the album reissued in 2023?
De La Soul's albums were unavailable for years because of unresolved rights issues. Once the rights had passed to the group's own company A.O.I. and the samples had been re-licensed, the catalogue returned from March 2023, on vinyl via Chrysalis/AOI Records.

Do you have more De La Soul records?
Yes, for example De La Soul – De La Soul Is Dead (2023), De La Soul – 3 Feet High And Rising (DE original 1989), De La Soul – Buhloone Mind State and De La Soul – And The Anonymous Nobody. More titles are in our Hip Hop collection.
