Depeche Mode – Just Can't Get Enough (Vinyl 12" Maxi-Single | DE Original | 1988)

Depeche Mode – Just Can't Get Enough is Depeche Mode's third single, taken from their debut album Speak & Spell. Vince Clarke wrote the song, and Daniel Miller produced it with the band at Blackwing Studios in London; the single came out in 1981. The 12" carries the long Schizo Mix, with Any Second Now in its Altered version on the B-side. In Germany, Intercord distributed Mute records under cat. no. INT 126.801 and repressed the title many times into the 90s. This copy is the 1988 German reissue on white vinyl.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
No. The first German edition with the same catalogue number came out in 1981 on black vinyl. This record is one of the later reissues, pressed in 1988 on white vinyl.

What is the Schizo Mix?
It is the extended 12" version of Just Can't Get Enough, running almost seven minutes. The mix name is not printed on the sleeve or labels; the running time and pressing details point to this version.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
For the record: NM- (Near Mint minus) means close to new with at most minimal signs of use. For the sleeve: VG+ (Very Good Plus) means light signs of use that barely affect the overall impression. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Depeche Mode records?
Yes, for example the album Depeche Mode – Speak & Spell (DE 1981), the Just Can't Get Enough 12" (DE reissue 1984) and Everything Counts And Live Tracks (1983). More in our Synth-pop collection.
