Depeche Mode – Master And Servant (Slavery Whip Mix) is the 12" of the single Master And Servant, released in August 1984 and included on the album Some Great Reward. Martin L. Gore wrote the song; Daniel Miller, Depeche Mode and Gareth Jones produced it, recording at Music Works in London and mixing at Hansa Tonstudios in Berlin. The Slavery Whip Mix runs over nine and a half minutes, and the B-side adds (Set Me Free) Remotivate Me in its Release Mix plus an instrumental version. This copy is the 1984 German edition (INT 126.824) on grey marbled vinyl, pressed by Teldec.

Is this the original pressing?
Yes. The grey marbled INT 126.824 is the German first edition from August 1984. Later there were black vinyl represses and, in 1987, a reissue in the Color Collection.

What is the Slavery Whip Mix?
The extended 12" version of Master And Servant, running 9:36. The B-side also has Voxless, a version without vocals.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
