No. The concert was first released on Verve in 1960 as "Ella In Berlin". This copy is a 1980 German club edition titled "Jazz Gala" with the same nine tracks.

What is a club edition?
An edition made for a record club and sold to its members. Musically it matches the regular release, but sleeve and labels carry their own catalogue numbers.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) for the record means close to new with at most minimal signs of use. VG+ (Very Good Plus) for the sleeve means light wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Ella Fitzgerald records?
Yes, for example Ella Fitzgerald – Ella In Hollywood, Ella Fitzgerald – Like Someone In Love, Ella Fitzgerald & Duke Ellington – The Stockholm Concert, 1966. More titles are in our Jazz collection.
