Elvis Presley - Aloha From Hawaii Via Satellite (Vinyl 2LP | UK Reissue)

Elvis Presley – Aloha From Hawaii Via Satellite is the recording of the 14 January 1973 concert at the Honolulu International Center, broadcast live via satellite to many countries. The show was produced and directed by Marty Pasetta; Elvis performed with his TCB Band, several vocal groups and Joe Guercio's orchestra. The double album was released by RCA in February 1973, initially in quadraphonic sound, and became Elvis' last US No. 1 album in his lifetime. The often-quoted 1.5 billion viewers came from Colonel Parker and is widely seen as heavily exaggerated. This copy is a UK reissue double LP in a gatefold sleeve (RCA DPS 2040); the year of this pressing is not stated.
