Description

Elvis Presley – On Stage – February, 1970 is a live album recorded mainly on February 17–19, 1970 at the International Hotel in Las Vegas; “Runaway” and “Yesterday” come from the August 1969 shows. It was released on RCA Victor in June 1970 and focused on songs not then associated with Elvis, such as “Sweet Caroline”, “Proud Mary” and “Polk Salad Annie”. The single “The Wonder Of You” reached No. 1 in the UK, and the album peaked at No. 13 on the Billboard 200. This copy is a German repressing (cat. no. LSP 4362), sleeve still in shrink.

FAQ

Was everything recorded in February 1970?
Not quite. Eight of the ten tracks were recorded on February 17–19, 1970; “Runaway” and “Yesterday” come from the August 1969 shows at the same hotel.

Is this the original pressing?
No. The original was released in the US in 1970. This copy is a German repressing with the same catalogue number LSP 4362; the pressing year is not stated.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means the record is close to new with at most minimal signs of play. VG+ (Very Good Plus) means light signs of use that hardly affect playback or overall appearance. The sleeve is still in shrink. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Elvis Presley records?
Yes, for example Elvis Presley – Elvis In Person At The International Hotel, Elvis – As Recorded At Madison Square Garden or Elvis Presley – Aloha From Hawaii Via Satellite. More titles are in our Beat / Rock ’n’ Roll collection.
