Description

Elvis Presley – Frankie & Johnny is the soundtrack to Elvis' 1966 film of the same name. The songs were recorded in May 1965 at Radio Recorders in Hollywood; the original album was released in 1966 on RCA Victor (LPM/LSP 3553). In 1976 Pickwick reissued it in the US as a budget LP with a changed running order and without "Chesay", "Look Out, Broadway" and "Everybody Come Aboard". This copy is that US reissue on Pickwick (cat. no. ACL-7007), pressed by Keel Mfg. Corp., with a Pickwick inner sleeve.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
No. The original was released on RCA Victor in 1966. This copy is the 1976 Pickwick reissue with nine instead of twelve tracks.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
Record: NM- (Near Mint minus) means close to new with at most minimal signs of use. Sleeve: VG+ (Very Good Plus) means light signs of use that barely affect playback or the overall impression. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Elvis Presley records?
Yes, for example the German edition Frankie And Johnny (DE reissue 1976), Paradise, Hawaiian Style or Roustabout. More titles are in our Beat / Rock & Roll collection.
