Description

Elvis Presley – Moody Blue is the last album released during Elvis' lifetime: RCA issued it on July 19, 1977, less than four weeks before his death. Produced by Felton Jarvis, it combines recordings made at Graceland in 1976 ("Moody Blue", "Way Down", "She Thinks I Still Care") with live recordings from the April 1977 tour and "Let Me Be There" from Memphis in 1974. In the US it reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the country chart. This copy is the German original on RCA Victor (cat. no. PL 12428).

FAQ

Is Moody Blue a pure studio album?
No. Six tracks were recorded at Elvis' Graceland home in 1976, three are live recordings from April 1977 in Ann Arbor, and "Let Me Be There" comes from a 1974 concert in Memphis.

Is this an original pressing?
Yes, this is the 1977 German first edition on RCA Victor with catalogue number PL 12428.

What does Media VG+ / Cover VG+ mean?
Both record and sleeve are graded VG+. VG+ (Very Good Plus) means light signs of use that barely affect playback or the overall impression. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Elvis Presley records?
Yes, for example Elvis In Demand or I Can Help And Other Great Hits with more seventies recordings. More titles are in our Beat / Rock & Roll collection.
