FAQ
Is this the original pressing?
Yes, this is the 1978 European first edition on CBS, cat. no. 82240, with its original inner sleeve.
What is a vocoder?
A vocoder imposes the character of the voice onto a synthesizer tone. Hancock uses it to sing on the first three tracks, giving the vocals an electronic, chord-like sound.
What does Media NM- to VG+ / Cover VG+ mean?
The record is between NM- (close to new) and VG+ (light signs of use that hardly affect playback). The sleeve is VG+, with a sticker torn off on the front. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.
Do you have more Herbie Hancock records?
Yes, for example Herbie Hancock – Secrets, Herbie Hancock – Mr. Hands and Herbie Hancock – Sound-System. More titles are in our Jazz collection.
