FAQ
What does DMM mean?
DMM stands for Direct Metal Mastering. The groove is cut directly into a copper disc instead of a lacquer, which removes one step in making the pressing stampers.
Is this the original pressing?
Yes, it is a French first edition from the year of release, 1985, with catalogue number BT 85109.
What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
Record: NM- (Near Mint minus) means close to new, with at most minimal signs of use. Sleeve: VG+ (Very Good Plus) means light signs of use that hardly affect playback or appearance. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.
Do you have more records with Duke Ellington's music?
Yes, for example Duke Ellington – New Orleans Suite or Ella Fitzgerald & Duke Ellington – The Stockholm Concert, 1966. More titles are in our Jazz collection.
