FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
No. The original was released in 1987 on ATCO. This is the limited 2024 reissue on Listenable Records (cat. no. POSH785) on blue transparent vinyl.

What does “New & factory sealed” mean?
The record is unplayed and still in the manufacturer’s original shrink wrap, so it carries no Goldmine grade.

Who is the voice on “Defender”?
The narration is by actor and director Orson Welles. He had already narrated “Dark Avenger” on Manowar’s debut “Battle Hymns” (1982).

Do you have more Manowar records?
Yes, for example Manowar – Fighting The World (EU original 1987), Manowar – Fighting The World (red vinyl, RSD 2022), Manowar – Kings Of Metal (2024) and Manowar – The Triumph Of Steel (blue vinyl, 2LP). More titles are in our Metal collection.
