FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
No. The original was released in the US in 1973. This copy is a 1978 Japanese reissue from the Blue Note Masterpiece Selection series, manufactured by King Records.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means the record is close to new with at most minimal signs of play. VG (Very Good) means the sleeve shows clear wear, here some abrasion on the spine. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

What is an obi?
An obi is the paper strip wrapped around the edge of the sleeve on Japanese pressings. It is missing on this copy; the insert is included.

Do you have more McCoy Tyner records?
Yes, for example McCoy Tyner – Expansions (also a 1978 Japanese pressing), Time For Tyner and Sama Layuca. More titles are in our Jazz collection.
