Quadrophenia (Music From The Soundtrack Of The Who Film) is the soundtrack to Franc Roddam's film Quadrophenia (1979), based on The Who's 1973 rock opera of the same name. The double LP was released in September 1979 on Polydor (cat. no. 2625 037). Ten tracks come from the rock opera and were remixed in 1979 by John Entwistle, partly with newly recorded bass parts; they are joined by three previously unreleased Who songs and mod classics by James Brown, Booker T. & The M.G.'s, The Kingsmen and others. The album reached No. 23 in the UK. This copy is a 1979 UK pressing in a gatefold sleeve with two inner sleeves.
