Randy Brecker & Eliane Elias – Amanda is a joint album by trumpeter Randy Brecker and Brazilian pianist Eliane Elias, released in 1985. The two produced it themselves and dedicated it to their daughter Amanda. It was recorded at Secret Sound and Sound Ideas studios in New York. Apart from Splash and Guaruja, written by Randy Brecker, all compositions are by Eliane Elias. The music moves between 1980s electric jazz, samba and Brazilian rhythms, with guests such as Michael Brecker, Sadao Watanabe, Will Lee and Dave Weckl.
