Description
The Brecker Brothers – Straphangin' is an album by brothers Randy (trumpet) and Michael Brecker (tenor saxophone), released on Arista in 1981. The two produced it themselves; it was recorded and mixed at Right Track in New York. The title refers to subway riders holding on to the straps of New York trains. The band features Marcus Miller on bass, Richie Morales on drums, Mark Gray on keyboards and Barry Finnerty on guitar. Following Detente (1980), it remained the Brecker Brothers' last studio album for more than ten years. This copy is the German original pressing on Arista (203 464).
