FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
No. The original was released on Epic in 1985. This copy is a 2024 EU reissue, remastered at Abbey Road Studios.

What does half-speed mastered mean?
With half-speed mastering, both the source and the cutting lathe run at half speed. The cutting stylus has more time to shape the groove, which can render fine high-frequency detail more precisely. For this edition the lacquers were cut at Abbey Road Studios from high-resolution transfers of the original stereo masters.

Is the record new?
Yes. The record is new and factory sealed, so it has not been opened or played.

Do you have more Sade records?
Yes, for example Sade – Diamond Life (half-speed reissue 2024), Sade – Stronger Than Pride (reissue 2024) or Sade – Love Deluxe (reissue 2024). More titles are in our Soul & Funk collection.
