Savatage - Hall Of The Mountain King (Vinyl LP | US Original | 1987)

Savatage – Hall Of The Mountain King is the fourth studio album by Florida band Savatage, released on September 28, 1987 on Atlantic. It was recorded at the Record Plant in New York and produced by Paul O'Neill and the band. It was their first work with O'Neill, under whose influence Savatage developed their later conceptual style; the instrumental Prelude To Madness arranges Edvard Grieg’s “In the Hall of the Mountain King”. FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes. This is the 1987 US first edition on Atlantic with catalogue number 81775-1.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means the record is close to new. VG (Very Good) means the sleeve shows clear signs of use, here a small cut-out plus edge wear and abrasion. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

What is a cut-out?
US retailers marked deleted overstock with a small notch, hole or clipped corner on the sleeve so it could not be returned for full price.

Do you have more Savatage records?
Yes, for example Gutter Ballet (2022), Edge Of Thorns (2022) and Streets: A Rock Opera. More titles are in our Metal collection.
