Description

Weather Report – Sweetnighter is the third studio album by fusion band Weather Report, recorded February 3–7, 1973 at Connecticut Recording Studio in Bridgeport and released by Columbia in April 1973. Led by Joe Zawinul, the band moved away from free collective improvisation towards tighter, funk-based grooves, as on the 13-minute "Boogie Woogie Waltz". It was the last album with Miroslav Vitouš as the main bassist. This copy is a 1983 European CBS reissue.
