Description

Pat Metheny – American Garage is the second album by the Pat Metheny Group, released on ECM in 1979 (cat. no. ECM 1155). It was recorded in June 1979 at Long View Farm studio in North Brookfield, Massachusetts, and produced by Pat Metheny. All five pieces were written by Metheny with keyboardist Lyle Mays, including the 13-minute "The Epic" and the opener "(Cross The) Heartland". The album blends jazz with rock and country-folk influences. This copy is the 1979 German original pressing.
