Description

Pat Metheny Group – Pat Metheny Group is the first album Pat Metheny released under his band's name, issued in 1978 on ECM Records (cat. no. ECM 1114). It was recorded in January 1978 at Talent Studio in Oslo, produced by Manfred Eicher and engineered by Jan Erik Kongshaug. Because of its plain white sleeve it is often called "The White Album". Together with Lyle Mays on piano and synthesizer, Metheny wrote pieces such as "Phase Dance" and "San Lorenzo". This copy is the 1978 German original pressing.
