Soilent Green – Soilent Green (Vinyl LP | DE Original | 1986)

Soilent Green – Soilent Green is the only album by the German hard rock band Soilent Green, released in 1986 on the small Kult Records label (cat. no. 86001). It was recorded in August 1986 at Try Harder Studio and produced by Peter Harder and Felix & Balthasar Produktion. The band sings in German; songs such as "Bruno" (also issued as a 7" single), "Ich tanz' auf deinem Grab" and "Asche im Wind" stand for raw, direct 80s hard rock from the German underground. The band is not related to the US grindcore act of the same name. This copy is the 1986 German original pressing.

Is this the same band as Soilent Green from New Orleans?
No. This is a German hard rock band from the 1980s with German-language lyrics. The US grindcore band of the same name is a different group.
