Is this the original pressing?
Yes. This is the 1977 German first edition on Mood Records (22 666), distributed exclusively through Zweitausendeins. A reissue followed in 1982.

What is a nadaswaram?
A South Indian double-reed instrument, a kind of large oboe. Charlie Mariano learned it in India and plays it here, among others on his piece South Indian Line.

What does Media VG+ / Cover VG+ mean?
VG+ (Very Good Plus) for the record means light signs of use that hardly affect playback. For the sleeve, VG+ means light wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.
