Description

The United Jazz+Rock Ensemble – The Break Even Point is the second studio album by the international jazz-rock group led by Wolfgang Dauner and Volker Kriegel, released in 1979 on Mood Records (cat. no. 23600) and sold exclusively through Zweitausendeins. It was recorded from April 12 to 15, 1979 at Tonstudio Zuckerfabrik in Stuttgart. Trumpeter Kenny Wheeler joined for this album, giving the ensemble three trumpets; each of the eight pieces was written by a different band member. The musicians had founded Mood Records themselves together with Werner Schretzmeier. This copy is the 1979 German original pressing with original inner sleeve.
