Description

The United Jazz+Rock Ensemble – United Live Opus Sechs is the sixth album by the German-British jazz-rock group often called the "band of bandleaders". It was recorded live on 30 June and 1 July 1984 at Theaterhaus Stuttgart. Each of the six pieces comes from a different member, from Wolfgang Dauner's "Wendekreis des Steinbocks" and Albert Mangelsdorff's "Rip Off" to Barbara Thompson's "Die Wiederkehr" and Ian Carr's "Lady Bountiful". Johannes Faber joins on trumpet. This is the German first edition from 1984 on Mood Records, sold exclusively through Zweitausendeins at the time.
