Description

Weather Report – 8:30 is a double album by jazz-rock band Weather Report, released in August 1979 on ARC/Columbia, and on CBS in Europe. Three sides are live recordings from the band's late-1978 tour, including November 28, 1978 at the Terrace Theater in Long Beach, California; the fourth side was recorded in the studio. It features the line-up of Joe Zawinul, Wayne Shorter, Jaco Pastorius and Peter Erskine, with pieces such as "Birdland", "Teen Town" and "Black Market".
