Description
Weather Report – Mr. Gone is Weather Report's eighth studio album and the follow-up to Heavy Weather. It was recorded from February to June 1978 at Devonshire Studios in North Hollywood, produced by Joe Zawinul and Jaco Pastorius, and released in September 1978. With no permanent drummer after Alex Acuña's departure, the drum chair is shared by Tony Williams, Steve Gadd, Peter Erskine and Pastorius himself. The album topped the Billboard Jazz Albums chart, while reviews were mixed. This copy is a 1978 European original pressing on CBS (CBS 82775) with the original inner sleeve.
