Description

Weather Report – Sweetnighter is the third studio album by the fusion band Weather Report, recorded from 3 to 7 February 1973 at Connecticut Recording Studio in Bridgeport and released on Columbia in April 1973. Under Joe Zawinul's leadership, the band moved away from free collective improvisation towards tighter, funky grooves, as in the 13-minute “Boogie Woogie Waltz”. It was the last album with Miroslav Vitouš as principal bassist. On offer is a European CBS stereo reissue with the catalogue numbers CBS S 65532, CBS 65532 and KC 32210. The release year of this pressing is not stated.
