FAQ

How can I recognise an original pressing?
An original pressing comes from the year and country of the first release. Clues are the label design, the catalogue number, the matrix number in the run-out groove and details on the sleeve. We list the country and year of pressing in the title of every record.

How do you grade the condition?
Every used record is checked by hand and graded to the Goldmine standard, with vinyl (media) and sleeve (cover) graded separately. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Are the images photos of the actual record?
Yes. We scan every record ourselves – used and new. For used records you get exactly the copy shown.

Do you buy rare records?
Yes – from single rarities to entire collections. You will get a fair, non-binding offer from us. Find out more on our record buying page.
