FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
No. The first edition came out in 1989 as a regular black LP. This copy is the 1990 picture disc reissue on Peaceville with catalogue number VILE 12.

What does Media VG / Cover PVC sleeve mean?
VG (Very Good) means clearly visible wear, but the record plays through. On this copy, surface noise is mainly audible in the run-in grooves and quieter passages. Picture discs come without a printed sleeve in a clear PVC sleeve, so there is no sleeve grade. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do picture discs sound worse?
Picture discs often have a little more background noise than black vinyl, because the image is pressed between two layers of film. Collectors mainly buy them for the look.

Do you have more Autopsy records?
Yes, for example Autopsy – Puncturing The Grotesque (12" mini-album, 2017). More titles are in our Metal collection.
